# Turn native desktop notifications on or off

One switch, under Connections, for whether NeuralVault raises your operating system’s own notifications.

## Steps

1. Open Settings, then Connections, then Native OS notifications.
2. The single switch turns them on or off, and it saves as you press it.

## How to tell it worked

The switch stays where you put it after leaving Settings and coming back.

## If it does not work

**The switch is on and you still see nothing.**

Your operating system has its own permission for notifications, separate from this one. Check that NeuralVault is allowed to notify you in your system settings.

**You expected the Connections group to hold your connectors.**

It does not. Connections holds notifications and hotkeys only. Connectors live under AI & extensions, which is the single most confusing thing about this Settings page.

## Still stuck

Bug reports belong in the app, in Settings, About. Those carry no contact details, so they
get fixed rather than answered. To get a reply, email us instead: that route targets two
