What is being built next.

One release goes to every edition on the same day. Below is what each edition gets in it, and how far along each piece is. Anything already released is on the changelog.

Everyone gets these
  • A rebuilt interface

The whole app has been rebuilt. The engine that holds your vault carries over unchanged, so what changed is everything you look at and nothing that stores your work.

    Testing
  • A signed installer

The installer and the app are code-signed, so Windows no longer warns you on first run.

    Testing
  • A front door

Signed out, the app opens on a gate offering an account or a sign-in, rather than dropping you into a shell that cannot do anything yet.

    Building
  • Signing in replaces licence files

No licence file to install and no key to paste. Your account carries what you have paid for, so the thing you actually do is sign in.

    Testing
  • Account deletion, and telemetry that is off

Delete your account yourself, with a grace period before it is irreversible. Anonymous usage telemetry is a preference that stays off until you turn it on.

    Testing
  • Your access follows your subscription

Entitlements are re-read while the app is running, so a subscription that lapses or is cancelled takes effect there and then instead of leaving paid pages on screen that the backend has already stopped answering.

    Testing

Free

  • Memory and skills released as Fair Source

The memory and skills files published under FSL-1.1-ALv2 as a weekly release. Free to use, including at work and in client work. The one thing it does not permit is building a competing product on it.

    Planned

Personal

  • NeuralVault Personal

The full harness rather than the Free preview. The edition page describes what it contains.

    Building
  • Included credits, and usage you can see

A balance, a running ledger of what each turn cost, and top-ups. Or keep pointing it at your own key, and nothing is metered at all. Both stay available.

    Building
  • NeuralVault routing in the model picker

A routing section in the picker, sitting alongside your own keys, so who serves a turn is a choice you make per model rather than a mode you put the whole app into.

    Building
  • Reasoning effort and image attachments

Set how hard a model should think, and attach images to a turn. Each is offered only where the underlying model actually supports it rather than offered blindly.

Business

Nothing exclusive to this edition. Everything above applies.

Patch versions after a release differ per edition, so the number you are on will not necessarily match somebody on another tier.

Business

  • Shared organisations and seats

The company layer on top of Personal: shared organisations, seats and the administration around them. A strict superset rather than a separate build.

    Planned
  • Seat billing and invoices

Per-seat billing, invoices, and a billing contact who is not necessarily the person using it.

    Planned
  • Inviting people to a seat

Invite somebody by email to a seat you have paid for. An invitation is bound to that address and expires, so a forwarded one is not a permanent key to your organisation.

    Planned
  • Concurrent sessions you can see and end

Machines are unlimited on every tier. What a seat limits is how many run at once, and you can see the live ones and end one from another machine rather than waiting it out.

Patch versions after a release differ per edition, so the number you are on will not necessarily match somebody on another tier.

macOS and Linux builds

The build targets a Windows installer today and nothing else. Other platforms are wanted, and are not close enough to attach to a release.

1.0.0-beta, the Free release, was released 20 August 2026. Everything in it, and in every version before it, is on the changelog. Want to know when the next one lands? Pick NeuralVault releases on the services page.
