The things that are not bugs

Sign-in trouble, a plan that will not activate, a payment question, a device you no longer use. Those are handled in your account rather than through a bug report. The documents that govern all of it are published here too.

Still need help

If none of those covered it

Report a bug from inside the app, where the diagnostics attach themselves. Email us if you want a reply from a person. Tell us privately if you have found a security problem.

  • Report a bug

Settings, then General, then About, then Report a bug. It shows you the exact diagnostics text first, then opens a prefilled issue in your browser. The tracker is public, so filing needs a GitHub account and anyone can read what you write. Nothing is sent until you press submit there, and one of the two buttons is “Continue without them”.

  • Email us

Bug reports carry no contact details, so they get fixed rather than answered. If you want a reply, email instead: that route targets two business days, and a real person reads it.

  • Found a security problem?

Tell us directly rather than filing it as an ordinary bug. We will not take legal action against anyone who reports a genuine issue in good faith and gives us a reasonable chance to fix it before going public.

What is in the diagnostics
The app version, your operating system, the webview version, whether a vault is configured (that word only, never the path), which background jobs are enabled, and the tail of the crash log from the last run if there is one. The app shows you the whole block before anything opens, and it ends by stating that no vault path, note content, prompt, model output or credential appears in it.
What you actually get

Support, described honestly

Free
Bug fixes and security fixes. No promised release cadence, and this page will not invent one. Report a bug from inside the app and it reaches the same place every other report does.
Personal
Everything Free gets, plus help with your account, your plan and your billing. Your subscription covers the application and its updates while it runs.
Business
Everything above, plus whatever deployment and support was agreed when the work was scoped. That is part of the engagement rather than something billed again.
No live chat
There is no team to staff one. A chat widget nobody is behind is worse than none, because it looks like an answer is seconds away.
No status page
The application runs on your machine. There is no service to be up or down for the part you use most, so a status page would mostly be a green tick that means nothing.
No clock on a bug report
A report filed in the app carries no contact details by design, so there is frequently nobody to reply to and no clock running on it. Email is the other route and it is not the same: anything sent through the contact form targets two business days, and a real person reads it either way.
No forum to post in yet
One where people answer each other is planned, hosted here rather than rented, and this page will not guess at a date. Until it opens there is a read-only questions page, which is what a forum gives you on day one without the empty room.
