Your account and plan
Making an account, signing in, and what your edition includes.
Creating and deleting your account
Sign up, confirm your email, and close the account itself on the website.
- Create an account and confirm your emailIn NeuralVault 2.0 the first screen after your vault is a sign-in screen, and a new account has to confirm its email address before it can sign in.
- The confirmation email has not arrivedIn NeuralVault 2.0 the "Account created" screen has a "Send it again" button, and the sign-in screen offers the same resend when an unconfirmed account tries to sign in.
- Delete your NeuralVault accountAccount deletion is done on the Perpetual Technologies website, not in the app. It is scheduled with a grace period during which you can undo it.
- Remove what NeuralVault stores on this machineAlso hereIn NeuralVault 2.0, Settings, Connections and data, Remove my data lists everything first and removes nothing until you type REMOVE MY DATA; your vault is never touched.Home: Privacy, data and removal / Privacy choices and removing your data
Signing in and out
Sign in, reset a password, sign out, use one account on the site and the app.
- Sign in to NeuralVaultIn NeuralVault 2.0 you sign in on the first screen with your email and password; the account tells the install which edition it runs.
- Reset a forgotten passwordIn NeuralVault 2.0 the sign-in screen has a "Forgot password" button that emails a reset link; the reset itself happens in your browser.
- Sign outIn NeuralVault 2.0 you can sign out from the Account menu or from Settings, Account, Plan and sign-in; your vault and notes stay on the machine.
- One account for the website and the appThe account you create for NeuralVault is the same one on the Perpetual Technologies website and in the app; it carries your edition and billing, and your notes stay on your own machine.
- Sign in, and see what your edition includesYour edition comes from your account. You sign in; there is no licence file to install.
- Sign-in or sign-up fails: what each message meansIn the Beta build, sign-in and sign-up give a short message with an NV-AUTH code; this guide matches each message to what to do, including the captcha message that is not your password.
- "Too many ... requests right now" when you sign up or ask for an emailIn the Beta build, the sign-up email service has an hourly limit shared by everyone using the app, so a request can be refused for up to an hour even when you have done nothing wrong.
Your edition and what it includes
Free, Personal and Business, and why a feature is or is not there.
- See which edition your install is runningIn NeuralVault 2.0, Settings, Account, Plan and sign-in names the edition and lists every capability with an icon showing whether this install holds it.
- How editions work: Free, Personal and BusinessThere is one app. The edition comes from the account you sign in with, and the table below states what each edition is documented to include, including the parts that are not built yet.
- Why a feature you expected is not thereFree is Chat, Settings and Vault. The board, the agent fleet, the dashboard and connectors need Personal or above. Canvas and Calendar are Business, and Wire is not in the app yet. *Corrected 2026-10-14: the board is Business, not Personal. Skills and the audit log are on Free too.
- You paid, but the app still says FreeThe app checks your plan on a schedule rather than the instant a payment clears, so force the check instead of waiting for it.
- Renew now: make the app pick up a plan changeIn NeuralVault 2.0 the app renews your plan in the background; "Renew now" on Plan and sign-in forces the check and says what happened.
- Your plan could not be renewed, or you have been offlineIn the Beta build, your plan is a signed copy kept on this computer that renews by itself while NeuralVault is open and online; the copy lasts seven days, and if it runs out with no successful check the app locks until it can check in. Nothing is deleted.
