Delete your NeuralVault account
Account deletion is done on the Perpetual Technologies website, not in the app. It is scheduled with a grace period during which you can undo it.

Steps
- In NeuralVault, open the Account row at the bottom of the sidebar and choose "Manage account online". This opens your account on the website in your browser. Signing in to the website with the same email works as well.
- In the account pages, open "Privacy & data".
- At the bottom, find the "Delete this account" card and press "Delete this account".
- Type your account email address into the confirmation box exactly as shown, then press the button that reads "Schedule deletion in" followed by the number of days.
- The page then says the account is scheduled for deletion on a stated date. It keeps working until then, nothing has been removed yet, and a "Keep my account" button undoes the request completely and immediately.
How to tell it worked
The Privacy & data page shows "This account is scheduled for deletion on" a date, with a "Keep my account" button.
If it does not work
- You are looking for a delete-account button inside the desktop app.
- There is none. The app only has Remove my data, which deletes what NeuralVault stores on this machine and does not touch your account.
- The page says "Cancel your subscription first, on the billing page."
- An account with a live subscription cannot be scheduled for deletion. Cancel the subscription from Plan & billing, then try again.
- The page says the account owns an organisation.
- Transfer or close the organisation first, so nobody loses access to work they depend on, then try again.
- The page says "That is not the email address on this account."
- The confirmation box must match the account email. Type it as shown.
