Anonymous usage reporting: there is none in this build

The version you can download collects no telemetry and no analytics, so there is no switch to find and nothing to turn off.

Steps

  1. There is nothing to do, and that is the whole answer. This build contains no usage reporting and no switch for it anywhere in Settings.
  2. If you would rather check than take our word for it, the privacy notice on this site states the same thing for this exact version, and the app repeats it in its own onboarding.
  3. The only thing that leaves your machine on purpose is a bug report you fill in yourself, and the app shows you that text in full before it opens anything.

How to tell it worked

There is no privacy, telemetry or usage toggle anywhere in Settings, because there is nothing for one to control.

If it does not work

You are looking for a Privacy choices screen.
There is not one in this build. What you may be after is Settings, General, Remove my data, which is a different thing: it deletes what NeuralVault has written on this machine.
A later version offers to turn usage reporting on.
Then it is a new feature in that version rather than something that was hidden here. If it is ever added it is off on a fresh install, off after an update, and stays off until you turn it on.
