Watch & Learn, and the programs it needs first
A recorder that captures your screen and microphone so the assistant can learn a task by watching. It needs ffmpeg, and two optional extras.

Steps
- Open Settings, then System, then Watch & Learn.
- Install ffmpeg first. Screen and microphone capture will not work without it, and NeuralVault does not install it for you. The card has an install guide open by default.
- Point the ffmpeg path at your install if it is not already found, then use the status line on the card to confirm it was detected: it reports the version and the path.
- Transcription with whisper.cpp and keyframe descriptions with a local Ollama vision model are both optional. Leave them empty and the recorder still records.
How to tell it worked
The ffmpeg status line says found, with a version and a path, rather than not checked yet.
If it does not work
- ffmpeg status stays on not checked yet.
- Nothing has asked it to look. Save the card once, which triggers the check, rather than expecting it to poll on its own.
- The microphone device field does not match your hardware.
- It takes the device name your system reports, not a friendly one you choose. Copy the name exactly as your operating system lists it.
