Pick a model, and filter by what the vendor does with your data
The model picker has a data-policy filter with three settings: any policy, no training, or no training and no logging.

Steps
- Open the model picker in Chat.
- Choose one of the three data-policy chips. "Any data policy" shows everything. "No training" hides vendors that train on what you send. "No training or logging" is stricter again, and keeps only vendors whose published policy commits to neither.
- Search or scroll to the model you want and select it.
How to tell it worked
The list shortens as you tighten the filter, and the chip you chose stays selected.
If it does not work
- A model you expected has disappeared.
- That is the filter working. Its vendor’s published policy does not meet the level you selected. Loosen the chip to see it again.
- Local models are still listed under the strictest setting.
- Deliberate. A model running on your own machine sends nothing to a vendor, so no vendor policy applies to it and there is nothing for the filter to exclude.
