Background jobs, and turning one off
NeuralVault runs a few scheduled jobs on their own. The Background jobs screen lists each one, when it last ran, and a switch.

Steps
- Open Settings, then System, then Background jobs.
- Each row is one job, with a switch and the time it last ran beside it. A job that has never run says so rather than showing a blank.
- Turning a switch off saves immediately. There is no separate save button on this card.
How to tell it worked
The row you changed keeps its new position after you leave Settings and come back, and its last-ran time stops advancing once it is off.
If it does not work
- A banner says background scheduling is paused in this window.
- Your switches still save. They take effect wherever the active scheduler is running, which is a different window or a different machine, so the change is not lost.
- A job says no run recorded yet and never changes.
- It has not had a reason to run, or the scheduler is paused as above. The time shown is the last actual run, not a countdown to the next one.
