System requirements

NeuralVault is built for 64-bit Windows 10 and 11; the project documentation publishes no minimum memory or disk figure, so none is given here.

Steps

Use a 64-bit Windows 10 or Windows 11 PC. The installer configuration builds a Windows x64 installer and nothing else, so there is no macOS or Linux build to install.
You need no administrator rights. The install is per user.
You need an internet connection to sign in and to renew your plan. After signing in the app keeps working offline, refreshing quietly when it can.
To use a local model you need Ollama installed and running on the same machine, plus a model pulled into it. Cloud models need your own API key instead.

How to tell it worked

The installer runs and the app opens on your machine.

If it does not work

You want a minimum amount of memory or disk space.: None is published in the project documentation, so this guide states none.
You are on macOS or Linux.: There is no installer for those systems in the build configuration.
You are offline and the app fell back to Free.: The plan is checked against a copy kept on the machine, and it lapses after a full week without reaching the internet. Connect and it refreshes.
