Remove what NeuralVault stores on this machine

In NeuralVault 2.0, Settings, Connections and data, Remove my data lists everything first and removes nothing until you type REMOVE MY DATA; your vault is never touched.

Steps

  1. Open Settings, then Connections and data, then Remove my data.
  2. Read the "Removes" and "Keeps" rows. It removes settings and state files in your user folder, the application log, and every API key and connector credential saved in this machine’s credential store. Your vault is not touched.
  3. Press "Show what would be removed". The table lists every file and stored credential. Nothing is removed by this step.
  4. If you want to go ahead, type REMOVE MY DATA into the box, exactly as shown, then press "Remove my data".

How to tell it worked

The screen reports "Removed" followed by a count of items, and pressing "Show what would be removed" again lists less or says "Nothing found".

If it does not work

The Remove my data button stays greyed out.
It stays disabled until the list has loaded and the typed phrase matches exactly, character for character.
You also want your notes deleted.
The app never deletes your vault. Delete the vault folder yourself in File Explorer.
You want your account deleted as well.
This screen does not touch the account. See the guide on deleting your account.
