Read the About screen and the build code
Settings, Account, About names your version and build, the engine, shell and renderer versions and where the settings file lives, which is what a support reply asks you for.

Steps
- Open Settings, then Account, then About.
- Read the headline version. A pre-release tag of beta is shown as "early access". The build code is on its own line beneath and is what a bug report always carries.
- Read the component rows: Sidecar (the engine), Electron and Renderer, each with its version, or "Not connected" or "Not reported" if none.
- Read the "Settings file" and "Entitlement cache" rows. They show where those files are on your machine.
- Use "Send feedback" for a message that goes to a private inbox, and press the release notes link for what changed in your version.
How to tell it worked
The screen shows a version number, a build code and a version on the Sidecar row.
If it does not work
- The screen says "This build does not report a version."
- Tell us in a bug report. It is a fault in that build.
- A "debug build" badge is showing.
- The screen flags a debug build. It is not the packaged release.
- You want to report a problem.
- Use the bug icon in the top bar or Ctrl+Shift+B. The About screen’s Send feedback goes to a private inbox, not a tracker.
