The vault curator: link checks and optional repairs
In NeuralVault 2.0 the vault curator checks your notes for broken links and can repair a few kinds; every switch is off until you turn it on and it never calls an AI model.

Steps
- Open Settings, then Workspace, then Vault curator. Everything on the screen is off until you turn it on.
- Press "Check now" to see what it finds without turning anything on. It reads every note once, so it can take a few seconds, and it only changes a note if a repair switch is on.
- Read the results: Notes checked, Broken links, Wanted notes, One-way links and Repairs made.
- To have it check on a schedule, switch on "Enable curator". It checks about once a day and again after the vault changes, and it only reads.
- Optionally switch on "Repair reverse links" (adds a missing link back when a note lists another on its Related line, only to an existing Related line) or "Repair links to moved notes". "Enable playbooks" writes a step-by-step playbook note when a task repeats, with no AI model, and never overwrites a playbook you have edited.
How to tell it worked
The report shows the run and its counts, and a repair shows under "Repairs made".
If it does not work
- A repair switch is on but nothing changes.
- The screen says a repair switch does nothing until "Enable curator" is on as well.
- A repair changed notes you did not want changed.
- Use the undo control on the last run. The screen reports "Put back" and how many notes.
