Create an account and confirm your email
In NeuralVault 2.0 the first screen after your vault is a sign-in screen, and a new account has to confirm its email address before it can sign in.

Steps
- Open NeuralVault. If you are not signed in, the screen reads "Sign in to NeuralVault". Nothing else in the app can be reached until you have signed in.
- Press "Create an account". The text changes to say it takes an email address and a password, and that you will get a confirmation link to click before you can sign in.
- Type your email address and a password, then press "Create account".
- Read the "Sent to" line on the next screen. It names the exact address the confirmation email was sent to.
- Open the email. If it shows a code, type it into "Code from the email" and press "Confirm with code". If it only has a link, click the link, come back to the app, press "I clicked the link: sign in" and sign in with your password.
How to tell it worked
After a code is accepted the app says "Email confirmed. Signed in as" followed by your address. After the link route, signing in with your password takes you past the sign-in screen.
If it does not work
- An error appears under the form when you press Create account.
- The message is the reason the account service gave. Read it first: it usually names the problem, and it is the text to quote if you write to us.
- The app says "Account created, and you are signed in." straight away.
- Then that account did not need a confirmation step and there is nothing more to do.
- The confirmation email does not arrive.
- See the guide on the confirmation email not arriving. It covers the "Send it again" button and what to check first.
