In NeuralVault 2.0, Settings, Connections and data, Connectors and integrations has a Yours tab for what you have added and a Discover tab for the catalogue; adding one needs the Personal edition.

Steps

  1. Open Settings, then Connections and data, then Connectors and integrations. Two tabs sit above the list: Yours and Discover.
  2. Yours is a table with Connector, Type and Status. Type says Web (an address NeuralVault connects to) or Desktop (a program that runs on this computer), with a Custom or Curated badge.
  3. Discover is the catalogue as a column of cards. A curated card carries a mark saying it is curated by NeuralVault, and its control says whether it is added, needs a token, or can be added.
  4. Use the search box, the Filter button and the Add menu, which offers "Browse the catalogue" and "Add a custom connector". Adding a connector needs the Personal edition. What is already configured stays listed.
  5. Read the Status column. "Ready" means every declared credential has a value. "Needs a token" means a value is missing and an agent’s call would fail. "Token not sent" means a stored value never reaches the connector. "Status unknown" means the app could not read which credentials have values, which is not the same as missing.
  6. Press "Check" on a row to start the connector once and ask it for its tools. A result "Answered, N tools" means it works. Only one check runs at a time, and it is never run on its own.

How to tell it worked

The row’s Check button reports "Answered" with a tool count, and the Status column reads Ready.

If it does not work

Check reports "Check failed".
The last check could not get an answer from that connector. Hover the failed result on its row for the reason.
The status is "Access lost".
The connector was refused. Use the Reconnect control on the row, or open the connector to replace the token it was refused with.
The Check button is disabled.
Checking a connector needs the Personal edition, and only one check can run at a time.
You looked for a Shopify, YouTube, Meta Ads, Search Console, GitHub or RSS connector.
The catalogue is a set of MCP servers. Those named data sources are not in this release.
