One account for the website and the app
The account you create for NeuralVault is the same one on the Perpetual Technologies website and in the app; it carries your edition and billing, and your notes stay on your own machine.

Steps
- Create an account once, on the website or in the app. The app’s own first screen creates it, and you confirm the email before you can sign in.
- Sign in with the same email and password in both places. In the app, Settings, Account, Plan and sign-in shows "Signed in as" with your address.
- The account is what carries your edition. Nothing is pasted or installed: sign in on another Windows machine and the same plan follows you, within the number of machines the plan covers.
- To change plan, open "Manage billing" from Settings, Account, Billing in the app, or the billing page on the website. Both open Stripe’s own billing page, so there is one place the plan changes.
- To control usage data, use the switch in Settings, Privacy choices in the app, or the matching switch in your account on the website.
- Your vault is not part of the account. Your notes stay in the folder on the machine you chose.
How to tell it worked
The edition named in Settings, Account, Plan and sign-in matches the plan on your account page on the website.
If it does not work
- The app shows Free but you changed plan on the website.
- Press "Renew now" in Plan and sign-in, or sign out and in again, so the app reads the account again.
- You cannot sign in on a second machine.
- Check you used the same email, and that the plan covers more than one machine. The app says where the plan comes from on that screen.
- You are looking for a licence key to paste.
- There is none. The account is the entitlement.
