NeuralVault routing: pick from 200+ models and pay from your balance
Routing means NeuralVault supplies and pays for the model, and the calls come out of your balance, with nothing to connect; It is not on sale yet. It is not part of Free.

Steps
- Understand what it is. You sign in, you pick a model, and the calls are paid from your NeuralVault balance. You do not make an account with the model’s maker or paste a key. You can also keep using your own key or a local model instead, on any edition.
- It is not on sale yet. Until it is on sale there is no balance to spend, so this guide describes how it works rather than something you can switch on today.
- When it is available to you, the "How would you like to chat?" screen offers "Use your NeuralVault balance". That route appears only where the plan includes routing, and it is greyed with a reason if no balance was found.
- In the model button in Chat, routed models show NeuralVault routing in the "Runs on" column. Choose one like any other model.
- The list holds only models that can use NeuralVault’s tools. A model a provider has confirmed cannot call tools is left out, because the chat is driven through a tool loop.
How to tell it worked
The model button names a routed model, "Runs on" says NeuralVault routing, and Settings, Intelligence, Managed usage shows the balance going down after a reply.
If it does not work
- The "Use your NeuralVault balance" route is missing.
- It appears only where the plan includes routing and you are signed in. Free does not include it. Use your own key or a local model there.
- The message says "That model is not available on managed usage".
- Pick a different model. Routing offers a fixed list, not every model in the world.
- The message says you are out of managed usage for this period.
- Add to your balance in Settings, Intelligence, Managed usage, or switch to your own key. See the guide on how the balance works.
- You cannot find a model you know exists.
- See the guide on a model missing from the picker.
