Steps
- Know the status. NeuralVault is built and tested on Windows. macOS and Linux are experimental: we test them far less, so they may be more unstable. There is no macOS or Linux installer yet.
- To use NeuralVault, install it on a 64-bit Windows 10 or Windows 11 PC. See the guide on installing on Windows.
- If you have a Mac or a Linux machine that can run models, you can still use it. Run Ollama there and point the Windows app at it. See the guide on using Ollama on another computer.
- Your notes are ordinary Markdown files in a folder. Any editor on a Mac or a Linux machine can open them.
How to tell it worked
You know which machine to install on: a Windows PC.
If it does not work
- You need a Mac or Linux version for your work.
- Tell us through the contact page on the Perpetual Technologies website. This guide makes no promise of a date, because none is set.
- You found an installer for Mac or Linux somewhere.
- It is not ours. There is no macOS or Linux installer yet. Do not run it.
