The screen says "The Beta is not released yet"

In the Beta build, a screen reading "The Beta is not released yet" replaces the app when the Beta has not been opened to your account yet; nothing is wrong with your account or your notes.

Steps

  1. Read the title. On a Beta build it reads "The Beta is not released yet". On the finished build it reads "NeuralVault is not released yet".
  2. Read the line under it. If you are signed in it says: "This account does not have early access yet. It will open here when it is released." If you are not signed in it says: "Sign in with an account that has early access to open it."
  3. If you are not signed in, sign in with the form on the same screen.
  4. Wait. The screen checks again by itself. It also checks again when the window comes back into focus or the internet returns. When your account is let in, the app opens without you doing anything.
  5. To check straight away, press "Check again". If it is still shut it says: "Still not open to this account. If it was only just opened, check again in a minute."
  6. Expect a short delay after an opening. Each install learns about it at its next plan check, so it may take a little while to reach you.

How to tell it worked

The locked screen is replaced by the app: the sign-in screen first if you are signed out, then Chat.

If it does not work

The screen says "Tried 1 time. Trying again automatically." (or another number).
That line only appears for a connection problem, not a refusal. See the guide on the other locked-screen messages.
The title is not "not released yet".

You were told you have early access and the screen stays shut.
Check you are signed in with the email address that was given early access. Press "Check again". If it is still shut after a minute or two, press "Report a bug" on the same screen and quote the build code. That button works on a locked screen.
You are worried about your notes.
Your vault is a folder on your computer and this screen does not touch it.
