See what you have spent: the cost chip, Usage, the Dashboard and the run-out forecast

In NeuralVault 2.0 the cost of the last turn shows in the top bar, Settings, Intelligence, Usage charts your spend by day, the Dashboard has Usage and cost cards, and a forecast tells you if managed credit will run out before it refills.

Steps

  1. After a reply, a small chip in the top bar reads like "about $0.0123 last turn". It is an estimate priced at the model’s list price, not a bill. Hover it to see the tokens and rates behind the figure. "Not priced" means that model has no list price, and "free last turn" means it is listed at no charge.
  2. For the whole picture open Settings, then Intelligence, then Usage. Pick This month, Last month or 12 months. The summary shows tokens, Cost (or Estimated cost), Tokens in, Tokens out and Average a day.
  3. The "Spend by day" chart draws one bar per day. The pale bar with a dashed edge is the last day, still counting. "Which models" ranks the models by tokens, and the table below can be exported with the CSV and JSON buttons.
  4. Money is the provider’s own cost where one was recorded and an estimate at list price otherwise, and the page says which. It is read from a record kept on this computer.
  5. The Dashboard, if your edition includes it, has a "Usage & cost" card and a "Token spend" card.
  6. If you use NeuralVault Managed usage, the usage meter in the sidebar also forecasts your credit. After at least six hours of history it divides what you have left by your recent spend per day and compares the run-out date with your refill date. "On track" means the credit lasts until about the refill. "Watch this" means it would run out more than two days before. "Running short", shown in the danger colour (red), means about seven days or more before.
  7. The forecast blends your last six hours, last day and last seven days, and cuts back one unusually heavy day. Hover the label for how it was made. It updates every few minutes.

How to tell it worked

Usage shows a Spend by day chart for the period you picked, and the totals match the table below it.

If it does not work

The Usage page says "Nothing used in this period".
No chat turn or run is recorded for those days. Try This month or 12 months.
Spend by day says there is no cost to draw.
No model used in that period has a list price. The tokens per day are in the table.
There is no forecast.
It needs at least six hours of use, a managed credit balance and a known refill date. Without them the sidebar shows the balance only.
The balance figure itself looks wrong.
See the guide on a balance that looks wrong.
